GARDAI say a gang of Roma gypsy pickpockets, some as young as 12, who have been targeting tourists and shoppers in Dublin city centre over the past month, are believed to have left the country heading for new hunting grounds in Glasgow and Edinburgh. They are expecting new gangs to take their place here as the gangs are organised on a Europe-wide basis and co-ordinate their operations.... [link]
Previously on this blog : 120 out of 124 shoplifters arrested in one-week clampdown were foreigners and 51 live charges, 6 admitted ATM thefts, 4 counties -- age 14 and Laws don't apply to the Roma?

Great video! They tried to rob me one night, a gang of women gypsies. I had a few pints taken so they thought I was easy prey. They encircled me, some started talking about sex, offering themselves for 'fucky, fucky' while one took my wallet out of my pocket. I felt it and ran after her, shouting and screaming. She dropped the wallet and they all ran off. I rang the guards who came in no time. They said to me they wished they could banish the lot from Ireland. She dropped the wallet they said, because I raised a fuss and to be caught would probably mean deportation. An awful shower!
